I'm still on DVD-A 4, but I used to have to hit the Icon above the timeline in DVD-A that says "Load Markers"

Here's a link to a script that can export markers without re-rendering.
Maybe that will work.

Did you use something besides Vegas to create your mpeg files? I sometimes will frameserve to TMPGEnc and markers will not follow.

Have a look at where your video stream MPEG file was saved. Is there a file with the same name but with an .sfl suffix. If so Vegas has created a separate markers file because it couldn't encode them into the video stream.

There should be a way of importing the markers from the .sfl file, if it does exist, though I haven't done this myself.

Now with Vegas 7 and DVDA 4 I had no problems including markers but I've experienced this problem myself since V8 and DVDA5.... mind you I'm using FCP and DVD Studio Pro more these days so haven't followed up on the problem.

Like you I never had the problem with the DVDA that came with V5...I guess I haven't tried to save markers since upgrading to V8.
Yes there is an .sfl file there...so what you're saying is from now on I'll need to rename it the same as the .ac3 and mpeg2 to have them import into DVDA right.
A bit of an inconvenience but I'll try to remember that from now on.
Thanks very much,
Randy
