No mention of Sonic Foundry products for audio (uh oh)

Hello, all.

I just bought 4 audio-related magazines recently (Home Recording, Desktop Music Production Guide, Recording, and Electronic Musician), and I couldn't find any ads or mention of Sonic Foundry products in them anywhere. Is that bad? Pro Tools, Cakewalk, Cool Edit Pro, and Cubase all made an appearence, but no So Fo. Color me "bummed." Are we out of the audio race?

No need to apologize for your English...yours is better than a lot Americans especially a lot of my fellow Kentuckians.

I don't think ads in the magazines is the best way to spend their(SF) dollars.
Let's face it, people "in the know" already know about SF products. Everyone here knows about Cakewalk, Cubase, etc. I don't think the average person will pick up a magazine, see an ad for audio software, and decide to buy based on that ad. They're more likely to buy products advertised at 20-50$, not professional level software that needs high-powered PCs, soundcards, high-speed drives, etc.
I would rather see SF spending their $$ on development to not only keep up with the Jones, but surpass them. When the competition starts offering better products, advertising won't help. The pros will buy elsewhere, no matter how good the ad is.
Besides, they already offer great discounts at product launches to keep their users loyal. I prefer that over a nice ad anytime.

What I wonder is why they still sell Vegas Audio 2.0 if Vegas Video 3.0 is supposed to be the replacement.

I hope they buy it for a few bucks less cause VV3 IS the latest version.
