no mpeg 1 or 2 in v5 - pretty please

i know, i post this once before but no response - i'll try once more, then go bury my head in tmpeg....

all i did was install my new logitech keyboard/mouse (along with some multimedia thing they had - which i then took off), and now i have no mpeg render in vegas 5

i can bring up the templates, etc., fill in all the details such as where to save to, but no matter how hard i click 'save' or custom - nothing happens. just a sort of flick as if it registered my click, and nothing else.

all else is fine. and yes, i have repaired / reinstalled to no avail.

help greatfully accepted, meanwhile, blowing the dust of tmpeg....

Not exactly your problem, but it may still be the fix.

my only thought now is, where do these extra entries come from?

then again, where do we come from? and where are we going....
