No Mpeg custom settings

Chessmaster wrote on 2/25/2003, 2:58 AM
I have this mpeg custom setting problem like some have mentioned here.

I have read about people installing VV4 who already have VV3 and were unable to get the custom render settings for mpeg-1 & 2. I have also read various registry edits, but I want to know if there has been a fix to this yet.

And second, if I installed VV3, and put VV4 on there, instead of having both, would I still have the same problem. At the moment VV3 works fine, and VV4 has that custom settings problem.

I find it unacceptable that a patch or something has not been issued by now to fix this. To me this is a major flaw that makes using VV4 useless, which is why I am using VV3 still.

Funny you should mention this because I have notived I cannot export clips to DVD compliant MPEG2 without error messages when using V4 yet V3 works like a charm. Go figure. Looking at the Canopus real time MPEG1/2 cpature board. Seems to work nicely.
