No option for some formats, including MP3

Hi, everyone. I've been a Vegas user since version 3, and I don't remember ever seeing this...although that's a long time. I am using 10c 64-bit and have run into an issue I can't figure out and Sony support wasn't much help...so I've come here. Thanks in advance.

Problem Summary: When I try to render to audio only I have noticed that I don't have many of the "type" options that I normally do. I'm missing at least .aa3, .ogg, .ac3, and most importantly, .mp3.

History: I had Vegas Pro 9 64-bit installed before 10. Before I purchased 10, I installed the 64-bit trial. Then I upgraded the license and registered 10. At some point after that I noticed I did not have these options. In VP 9, though, I still had them (I usually leave the last two versions installed, so VP 9 was still there.

I recently installed VP 10c 64-bit on a newish laptop (that has never had VP before) and everything is normal (all type options are there for rendering audio). As a troubleshooting measure, thinking it may have been caused by the trial version of 10, I uninstalled VP 9 and VP 10, then reinstalled just 10c 64-bit. Still I have this problem (though I noticed when running it for the first time, I got the "trial has expired" screen, so the problem, I guess, could still be related to the trial version). I installed 10c 32-bit, and all options are there.

Not really sure what I can do to get all of my audio options. I use Vegas for Audio quite a bit (I'm a podcaster) and would like to get this working. The PC that this is NOT working on is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. The one it is working on is Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

Thanks in advance.
Bill~
