no problems here

I know that most of the forum questions tend to be technical problem solving issues, but I'm wondering if we take a step back and look at what we are all doing. We are using these programs in a way to express our creativity, to tell stories, to document our lives. Has this technology allowed us to express our creativity in ways that we would not have been able to? In other words, as a society, have we become more creative or free thinkers because of these programs, or have we simply transferred our creativity from other types of activities or hobbies? Or this technology actually detrimental in that it creates an obsession in trying to work through these programs while ignoring family members, nice days outside, and the radiation that is coming off the screen.

All technology does is provide tools. We each have the responsibility of deciding whether they are used to build or destroy ourselves and our world.

Television, for instance, can be the greatest means of information distribution in the history of our planet -- or the easiest way to waste away our lifetimes.

It's up to the user.

Well put Grisetti. I for one have been completely unable to accomplish much with MS this entire summer because I'd rather be out on my boat! :o)
