No sound

Hi all

I import a mpg2 file and is able to view it on the monitor. But why there is no sound?

Likely because you're importing an MPEG that has AC3 associated with it. Vegas doesn't decode AC3 files. You'll need to find a tool like BeSweet to convert the AC3 back to wav.
