I just bought Vegas 8 and am having a problem with the sound. The media is imported without any problem and it plays in the preview with sound. I only want a 45 second clip from the 5 minute video so I split the video and audio before and after what I want leaving the 45 second clip deleting the rest. When I move the remaining 45 second clip that has both audio and video it only plays the video. There is no sound but I can see that there is sound under the video in the project media windows. I don't know if I muted something or not. Thanks for your help.
