I'm missing something very obvious here but I can't see the problem at the moment. I have a large AVI clip which when opened in Vegas but has no sound when played in the preview window or on the timeline. Other clips will play with sound in either place. I thought that I might have captured the clip without sound but this clearly isn't the case. If I open Windows Explorer & click on the clip Windows media player opens & the AVI plays with sound. What am I doing wrong?
