No sound in Movie Studio

I just started working with Music Studio and Audio Studio and I love it. A couple of days ago I purchased Movie Studio and whatever I do, I don't hear sound. I copied in music and recorded voice. I see the "waves" but when I preview or play the sequence I don't hear anything. Of course I checked the volumes, but to no avail. A track that sounds just fine in Audio Studio can't be heard in Movie Studio.
Please help.

I know these are basic but
is the track muted? circle with the slash through it
is your project volume meter showing?
does it work on preview of the clips?

Could alse be that the MasterMixer is down on volume or muted - if you do not see the MasterMixer in your VMS working area pls press ALT+3 one or two times and you will see it.
You can make it disappear again by clicking the little x in its upper left corner.
