No sound in preview nor final render

Hey! so I was working on a video for my team and whilst editing the audio cut out, I was confused so I saved my project and closed it. Once re-opening all the volume is gone for my project on every single audio track.
I'm on a Predator-Helios 500 Laptop with the specs..

GTX 1070 Graphics Card

i7-8750H CPU

16GB Ram

Does "gone" mean deleted.. Vegas does not 'delete' files so they are still be on your PC somewhere. The file/events could have been inadvertently removed from the timeline, or hidden in a 'track group'.

I am having the same issue. When I am creating the video audio works in playback. Once I render and save to my hard drive audio does not play.

By gone I mean that the audio track is still there but I cannot hear any audio, I can see the output flicker but I cannot hear it in preview nor final render.

@Marico-Sellers How are you playing your video e.g. WMP, VLC player etc?

@Jackson-Hall Check you haven't accidentally ticked "Mute All audio" in Options menu.

@EricLNZ I have checked and I did not have "Mute All Audio" ticked, I tried using @Marico-Sellers option and resetting the settings did not work either.

Are you trying to say, one of the meters is showing activity? If so, which meter.. track, sub-master, master?
If the Master bus meter shows audio is getting to there, I would investigate the "Audio device type" settings in "Options> Preferences> Audio device" and confirm the correct playback interface/soundcard

Checked audio master bus and it was muted, thank you.
