No sound when rendered to CD-RW

Hi! I made a movie using VideoFactory and then rendered it to a mpeg file on my CD-RW disk. When I went to play the disk in my DVD player the video came up, but there was no audio. Everything has worked fine up until this point and I have never recieved any error messages. Please help!! Emily

Did you possibly have the sound track muted when you were working on your project? I often mute the sound so I don't have to hear it over and over! But, if you render your project, the sound won't be included. Just a thought!

Thanks for responding! I checked that and rendered it again and still no sound. :o( I realized that it's not a CD-RW disk but a CD-R. Could that make any difference?

Have you tried playing the CD on your pc? It would also be helpful to know if you get the audio when you render to a file on disk. You can select a few seconds of the timeline and just render that, rather than rendering the whole project each time.

I had same problem but my answer was a setting on my stand alone dvd player.I had to adjust menu setting on dvd player
