No Sound with Scene Selection Menu

I think I finally figured out how to drag & drop scenes into DAR to make a scene selection menu. Now I'm stuck with another issue. I have four scenes in my movie. When I create the DVD, there is video but no audio.

I added each clip to Vegas and rendered each one individually. Then I opened DAR and loaded each clip by dragging it onto the menu, thus creating the scene selection menu. There is audio when I preview it.

So now I'm wondering if I should be rendering the entire project in Vegas before I make the scene selections. Is there something else I am missing?

What I am trying to do is create a full movie and also have separate buttons (scenes) that will play three clips from that full movie as individual clips. I want those clips to stop at the end of each clip and go back to the DVD menu.

Thanks for the help.

The scene selection does not have audio by default -0 just drag in some audio clip into your timeline, and thou shalt have audio!

Re: Vegas - it's better to put your chapters in Vegas, as markers, than DVDA as Vegas will create the necessary I-Frames at those moments in time, but it's not critical if you are not worried about being potentially off by a few frames at most.

As mentioned in another thread - look at your end actino for each scene selection button - tell it to go back to your menu.

I think I'm finally, yes, finally, getting the hang of this scene selection stuff. I have been able to make buttons, a menu and feel like it's starting to click.

Now, I'm having trouble in DVDA with broken chapters. If I create the chapter markes in Vegas, might that eliminate this issue? I don't remember if I created them there or not, but I'll check.

Thanks for the continued help.
