How are you setting things up? You need to enable listen for sync as
well as configure it.

Make sure you have v 1.0a of Vegas as 1.0 had a number of problems in
this area.

- Set up your MTC input parameters as you desire in the Properties |
Sync page
- Arm the tracks you want to record from.
- Enable listen for sync from the Options menu or typing Ctrl-F7.
- Switch the time display to "MIDI Time Code In" by right clicking on
the time display.

You should see the text "MTC Input Waiting..." displayed in the time
display.

As soon as Vegas starts to receive MTC the timer should start to move.

Does it work with playback?
