No Video

I have no video but do have audio. The video is not muted. I have unistalled and reinstalled software. I have a video camera that is fairly inexpensive that I bought on ebay. It came from I think Hong Kong. I can view the videos from camrea on computer using Real Time.

There can be a variety of reasons for this.
In order to track it down, we need your full media properties reported by MediaInfo (from Sourceforge).
In the meantime, my tutorial, which hasn't been updated in some time, should still make for some interesting reading.

Is it possible you have closed the video preview window? To re-enable, choose View/Video Preview from your menu.

The OP's "inexpensive camera from Hong Kong" most likely shoots MJPEG or h264 wrapped as AVI. Although a disabled preview is a common problem among newcomers, it may be just a matter of finding out the codec he needs.
