No Video Events shown

My video events have gone blank. I'm at 40 minutes on an hour video with tons of Transitions, Media Generations, etc. I have tried other videos with same result so problem is in software. I was Had either Illustrator or Photoshop up at same time, which I have been doing for months. The only thing that I can think of is that I accidently activated Vegas while working on the other programs and changed some parameter in Vegas. I cannot come up with a correction.
Help!

Do you still see the video in the preview window and hear the sound when you play? Check under the View menu, Wavefroms and frames. If this is turned off then all events on the timeline will be empty rectangles. The keyboard shortcut for it is Ctrl+Shift+W

You hit the nail on the head. Thanks so much. Being Control/Shift W is right in line with Control Shift S which I'm sure I was trying to save a file from Photoshop, but was really in Vegas
