No Video Preview

Hey Guys,
I Literally bought my Vegas movie studio 8 a couple of weeks ago, and until now i've had no problems with it. i opened my current project and tried to watch it in my video preview box but it has no video playing on it.

Audio plays but with no video. I've tried to reboot my PC etc, Rendering it and watching through playback but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know how to get it seeing my video again?

Have you 'muted' the video track or soloed a different video track?

I had the same problem and went insane for a while.
You may have inadvertently hit the parent child button on one of the tracks. Try clicking those and see if your preview comes back.
It worked for me.
