I installed VMS17P and when I add m2ts files created by Sony 3D camcorder with 5.1 sound I get no waveforms or sound from the timeline, despite having downloaded the codec as requested when rendering with Sony AVC/MVC, AVCHD ... 5.1 ss. I had the same problem initially with both VMS14P and VMS16P, until an update followed in a next build. Will this be corrected or did Sony and Magix not agree on this format? I use Dell laptop with Windows Mapper and currently no problems with 14 and 16 and SoundForge 13, so don't think hardware is problem. The ability to have 5.1 sound is critical because all my footage is from this camera. Sound works fine in 16, but 3D rendering problem, hence the update to 17. Very disappointed and Magix support not solving anything.
