Great Job! Very entertaining, I like the GRock (Geezer Rock) vibe, my kind of music. ((:

Did you do all the instruments?
charles-mcguyer wrote on 8/3/2014, 5:09 PM
Never heard it called geezer rock before although I am pushing the twilight of my years. So be it, I guess. I played the guitar and did the vocals. Played the keyboard for the other instruments although I'm not a keyboard player. The miracles of computers. The drums are samples that I arranged. Great samples from Big Fish audio and Scott Rockenfield of Queensryche fame.

Thanks for watching and for your comments.

Apart from the blatant abuse of the periodic table I quite enjoyed it.

I've never watched 'Breaking Bad' before but that Periodic Table was spoof on that TV show. A guy did that for me.

Outside of the Periodic Table glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

Good job. Kept me entertained to the end. Don't see many like this one. I liked all the "Intellectual" content. Eat your heart out Lady Gaga.

Great job - liked it a lot - can see many many hours of work there!

Liked the cell phone touch.

What software do you use for your multitracking?

Would have liked some of the lyrics to be a bit easier to hear - either the level or EQ to separate from the guitar.

Thanks, everyone for watching and your lovely comments. Peter, all I used was Sony Vegas Pro 12 for editing the video. Shot the video with a Sony HDR-CX100 camcorder. Recorded the song using Sonar X2 Producer before shooting the video. Mixing is a matter of taste and I'm not particularly fond of too dominant a vocal..

Took about two weeks to shoot it. But I worked on it continuously. Tried to have other people in the video but my schedule and theirs never worked out. One was sick and another was a little skittish about being in the video.

Do you mind if I share the link with others?

And by the way, where did you get some of your intro effects?
charles-mcguyer wrote on 8/4/2014, 1:09 PM
John, be my guest. Share as much as you like. I got the intro effects (and others in the video) from fiverr.com. People on that site will do them for $5. You'll have to look around for what you want.
