Noise Reduction Filter for Vegas

I often copy old super 8mm films into vegas and convert them into DVD movies.
I get a great result as far as detail is concerned but the grain from the original film looks exaggerated.
Does anyone know of a quality plugin filter for Vegas which would reduce this problem.

I suggest you look at the noise reduction plug-in from the folks at Neat Video .
It's $49 if all you need is SD resolution otherwise it's $99.
I haven't tried it yet but recommended it on another Vegas forum and the comments were extremely positive. A trial download is available

The Neat Video plug-in works exceptionally well. In the meantime, you might want to at least try Mike Crash's Noise Reduction filter, it's free and works well.

Click on "Downloads." You might as well get all his filters, you never know when one of them might come in handy.
