I send the audio to SF7 and in there set the amout of reduction down to say -10dB and if needed run several passes. Haven't tried using NR2 directly in Vegas but I'd suggest rendering out a new track each time otherwise things would get complicated as you'd need to also save the different noiseprint.

I've had very good results in Vegas by putting several NR2's in the fx chain. It's a great tool.

In the first plugin make a noise print and save it as a preset. Recall the preset in the downstream plugins. This way you are only working on source noise and not artifacts that might be created by Noise Reduction.

I'd apply NR passes using non-realtime fx (right click audio> apply non-realtime event fx). This saves proc cycles, each pass is saved as a new take so you can go back...check it out.

I agree, but DO remember to capture a new noiseprint for every instance. Otherwise you'll just be shoveling the same gravel out of the hole each time.

Thanks!
