I upgraded last year from VP10 to VP12 and the Noise Reduction plugin (version 2.0k) works fine for me. Have you tried reinstalling the plugin?

Thanks Peter. I just uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas Pro 12 670 AND Noise Reduction 2.0m. I rebooted between the uninstall and reinstall. Still no Noise Reduction in 12, and I still DO HAVE Noise Reduction in 10. Crazy.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

Anyone know of a way to force a rescan for plugins?

I did a search and found this was a common issue with Vegas a while ago when going from V6 to V7. The solution then was to reset Vegas to default values using CTRL SHIFT at startup. I just did that on my V12 and now I DO HAVE the Noise Reduction Plug! I would have thought that uninstalling and reinstalling V12 would have ensured I have the default values but apparently not. At any rate, if anyone else runs into this I hope this will help them.

Thank you - very interesting - wasn't even aware that there have been 2 updates since my version 2.0k.

A little strange that the release notes (from October 2012) tells nothing about what was improved.
