Noise Reduction- where to buy, how much?

The Noise Reduction plug-in seems mighty tempting but the price is outrageous. What/where is the best way to purchase it and for how much?

The price isn't particularly outrageous, especially compared to what it does, and its compeditors.
That being said, you can usually find it bundled with Sound Forge for around $200, as memory serves-- try Guitar Center, for example.

If you have much noise reduction to do the investment will pay you back a hundred times over. If you want to see what a really expensive noise reduction system will cost you then check out Cedar.

SoFo's plugin does 90% of what Cedar does for a pittance of the cost, and once you know how to use it effectively it is capable of extremely good results.
