From the FAQ

"Can I be e-mailed when somebody replies to my post?
No. At this time, we do not offer this feature."

Take a look at Vegas Nights from Jonathon Neal. It won't do exactly what you want but you may still find it useful.

sorry to be a newbie - shaking things up - but isn't this ABC of forums? what is the problem?

I’ll tell ya’ what: In my opinion, I believe one of the reasons this forum is so active and has so much info is precisely because it does NOT have the subscribe to thread feature.

Take a look at Creative Cow, Adobe, etc. These have the thread subscription feature and they’re pretty dead. Everyone just cares about their own little thread.

When you come here, you are bound to see something you may be interested in, but did not know until you came here and saw it. Take your thread for example. You are going to have more responses to it because we just happened to see it. If we only came here for our subscriptions, we would never even know that this thread existed.

Just a thought…

Agree with kentwolf. Surprising how often I discover useful stuff in threads that seem away from my particular interests. Feedback would be from a much narrower base.
