I''m a rather recent, Extremely Happy Customer of Vegas 4/DVD.
Two things...A BIG thanks to you regular posters to the forum. I don't post much, but check in here at least once a day to read the threads.
The advice and tips you offer to everyone (and us lurkers)is wonderful. I appreciate it.
My question,
After rendering to mpeg2, and watching Windows Media Player 8 or 9 load the video, I notice that even though the little "status window" says "error downloading codec" the video plays just fine, and burns to DVD just fine.
It's not a big deal, but aroused my curiosity.
I'm always on a stable DSL or Cable connection and I don't understand that little message.
What is that little "error" all about?
