not able to preview ac3

Ive just got Vegas 4 + DVD, mainly as Nuendo doesnt author to DVD. But when I import an ac3 file (exported from nuendo) and try to preview it all I hear is noise. The same happens with dolby wave files. The sample rates and everything are all the same and correct. Any one else had this problem?

I have the same problem, but it seems to burn to the dvd without difficulty.

Well, I havent tried burning to DVD yet, but if it is a known case then I sure hope Sonic Foundry sort it out in an update

In a previous post a Sonic Rep said the you could not preview ac3 material - it gets down mixed to regular stereo byt the previewer.
