Not Enough Space on Disc

Hi everyone

I am having trouble with burning the bluray after rendering. My project is only 7gb in size but when I try to use a 25gb bluray disc I get the message that there is not enough space on the disc???

When I insert a 50gb disc it is fine. Why would this be? Can anyone help as I dont really be wanting to use 50gb discs if I can help it?

The total length is 51 minutes.

Export sesttings.. Main Concept Mpeg 2.

I burn my blurays by selecting "Make Movie" in Platinum Movie Studio, Then choose "render image and burn"

This is a snapshop Cornico. Should I be using Sony AVC? Will it give me the same quality bluray? Apologies but I am a novice at this. :)
