Not experienced. Just enjoying the experience

Hello folks.

Just to wish you all well. Keep safe.

I'm really enjoying myself using Vegas Movie Studio.

Open the programme, check the forum read the new posts. Realise that I do understand some of them. Woohoo!

Spend some time trying to make amendments to my current projects. Watch a tutorial. Practice what is asks me to do. Try to make some more adjustments to my project. Close.

Where am I? Scotland. Ardrossan. I walk 50 yards to the main road entrance and I am looking at the Isle of Arran. Lockdown means what is says at my age.

Regards

Ross

I share your enthusiasm, Ross! I love this program! And my routine has become nearly identical to yours! I open Vegas, play around with what I was doing the night before, then log on here to post more dumb n00b questions!

As I said before, I edited my short film way back in 2006 using Sony Vegas and it's just as fun and easy now as it was back then. Shortly after that project, I switched to all-macOS machines and no longer had access to Vegas. So happy to be back. I've been perusing the manual all day today and now feel so much more empowered.

Never been to Scotland, but it looks simply gorgeous in the movies. Only been to Europe for work, twice to Monaco and only briefly in London for a 24-hour layover. I live in a Southern California beach community in Los Angeles County, and believe me, it's NOT like you see in the movies or on Baywatch (I live very close to where they used to shoot Baywatch actually, which was in a small harbor in Playa Del Rey). The sky is always a bleak gray-white, and we rarely have any clouds in the sky. Everything you see on TV about LA has had major VFX work done for sky-replacement!
