Note of thanks

Just wanted to repeat my thanks to the Madison gang and Mr. Campbell for the highly useful interfacing of Vegas and the Veggie Toolkit. I needed to re-render 35 .wav files for the music cues in my DV feature to .aif files at the request of my sound designer--who had also asked if I could give him a cue sheet (I had burned timecode numbers onto a Quicktime reference file of the movie for him).

I simply (at least it's simple to me by now) double-clicked each music event on the timeline, hit "R" to make the selection a region, named each region with the music title, then opened Toolkit and batch-rendered the regions as a batch of .aif files for delivery on a DVD.

Then, went back to the Vegas timeline and replaced the .wav files in each event with the corresponding .aif files. Why? Because this enabled me to highlight the Vegas EDL window (the blank square at the top left corner), hit Ctrl-C, and paste the EDL list of frame-accurate in and out points with filenames, onto a table I could print out. Viola, cue sheet.

Kudos.
