NR 2.0 added as Track FX or to a Bus? Destructive/nor-destructive?

I simply want to eliminate camera motor noise from the audio of my entire project. Should I use NR 2.0 as a Track FX or add to a master bus?...In doing so is that destructive or non-destructive? Could someone explain this to me? Jeff Fisher said you add it to a track as an effect, but then render the audio as a new track and get rid of the original. Why?

thanks,
Dan

Noise redux weighs heavy on the proc as an effect, even though you can do it that way. I prefer to open copy in Forge and save the 'repaired' audio as a take, that way I always have the original in the event that I need to go backwards.
If you render to a new track, it's non-destructive. If you save changes to a file when running it as a destructive plug, then it's destructive. But it takes 'work' to save it as a destructive file. This function, like many others in Vegas, can be approached from a number of angles.
