Tinklady,
Definitely go with NTFS as the file size is unlimited. With video, it's better to not be limited to 4GB (as Windows operating systems are prior to XP) as video file sizes quickly exceed that after only 15 minutes (.avi) of recorded video. Vegas can work with both (I'm still using Windows ME) but if I had the option, I'd go with NTFS.

Just a point of clarification, Windows NT, Win2k and WinXP all support NTFS, Win95, Win98 and WinME do not.

The key is to make the computer proprietary to video editing only. That way you maintain efficiency, speed, and reduce the variables for troubleshooting.

I'll just throw in that NTFS is a newer and BETTER file system. In fact that's what the acronym stands for: New Type File System. That alone should be reason enough to use it. FAT 32 is much more prone to problems. NTFS is more stable and able to repair itself.
