NTSC 24 & 29FPS

Is a DVD produced using 24fps NTSC completely compatable with standard US DVD players?

it is actually 23.976 fps .... and yes it is compatible (when pulldown is added) ...

probably 90% of all commercial dvds are at this frame rate ..
