NTSC DVD Architect Video Stream template

Can anyone tell me if the Vegas template for rendering mpeg-2 video (DVD architect widescreen video-only stream) will always output Bottom Field First, even when the project properties are set to Upper Field First? Since the template itslef is not customizable, I thought the Project Properties was where i could affect the field-order.

In general, are the project properties only there for previewing while working in a project? Do they not have any effect on the rendered video?

I had my project set to Upper Field First, and rendered it with the above template, but Bitrate Viewer is telling me the video (originally Upper Field First) is now Bottom Field First....Thanks!!!!

anyone???

I don't get this because i thought dvd architect help files tell you to select upper field first if the DVD is to be played on a TV, but you can't seem to get there if the movie studio template for mpeg-2 forces bottom field first...

Project Properties have no effect on Render Properties, with very few exceptions.
Field Order is not one of the exceptions.
It makes no difference if your DVD is upper or lower first, and you are correct, the Vegas templates are LFF.
Can you show us where you got your information?
