NTSC to PAL

Could someone confirm that Vegas 5.0d can take a NTSC avi, render it as a PAL mpeg2 in Vegas, and prepare it as a PAL DVD in DVDA 2.0b? I did this and it did not play on a PAL player in England. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance, Bob Kroeger

If you use the search function in this forum and search on "PAL NTSC" in the subject line, you get 617 hits. I think you will find your answer pretty quickly, not only whether it can be done (the answer is yes), but more importantly, how it can be done.

My biggest suggestion would be to do the render in Vegas 6. Vegas 6 NTSC to PAL conversions look far better than those done in Vegas 5.
