NTSC To PAL Transfer

I finished authoring my client's project and it is in the process of being replicated. It is a musical project she did in Europe and would like for me to make her a couple of PAL disks to send to some of the people who helped with the project. The DVD I authored for her was in NTSC.

I assuming all I have to do is rerender the video track and the video loops used for the menus. Then these can just be pasted into the existing project, prepared, burned, and be a ready-to-go PAL DVD of the program.

Is my assumption correct, or is there more I need to do?

JimMSG,

You probably don't need to convert to PAL. I have sent several NTSC DVDs to France and Germany. They work fine. From what I have read on these forums, the DVD players in Europe will play PAL and NTSC.

But if you still want to do PAL, I believe you need to render your project in Vegas using the DVD Architect 24 fps PAL template. Then import this into DVD architect. I think you will need to start a new DVD architect project.

Also, the PAL rendering in Vegas takes a long, long time.
