Have events assembled on timeline,---all in in 16:9 ratio.

Bit I want 16:9 events on timeline to take up more of the screen.
Seems to be plenty of room.
When I go to track motion and try to drag it bigger i get no response,----or if 2D glow or shadow is selected those FX enlarge instead.

You 'd need to set the 16:9 aspect, and then zoom in using the pan/crop tool, with aspect ratio locked. This will cause you to lose resolution, however.
I'm assuming you're using a widescreen template?

This is going to be projected on a big screen, so resolution is a consideration.
I'm using the 16:9 template in pan/crop.
I'm thinking it may be best to stick with it.
What do you think?
The events on timeline overlay a solid white background.
Rather long logo is beneath the 16:9 image.
16:9 seems to work for the eye,---but image appears to be a bit small in relation to graphic,---according to focus group.

Suppose it (the 16:9 image) will look bigger on the big screen.
See if I can get a look at it projected.
May be time to leave well enought alone.
Want whatsever up there to look as clean and sharp as possilbe.

How about your Project Properties - are these using a widescreen template too?

No.
But when I tried that, events went for a squeeze,---high and narrowish.
Undid the pasted artributes on TL, but the same result.
It seems the 16:9 image is stuck at this size,---doesn't it?
At that ratio it seems I just can't make it bigger.
But I wonder why.
