NVidia Driver 306.23 Now Available

Just a heads up that the NVidia 306.23 driver has just been released.

I suspect the big jump in version numbers (from the previous 301.42 is at least in part in preparation for Windows 8.

The file name is the ungainly:

306.23-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql.exe

I just got through installing 306.02. I can't keep up with these guys.

Big improvement. I'm using an older GTS-250 card that became unusable for GPU rendering with the nVidia v301.42 release. Vegas would lock up if I simply tried to preview my project. The v306.23 release restored GPU functionality, and seems to run noticeably less jerky while rendering events that have extensive FX applied.
