I'm assuming your new hard drive is drive D:. If not, just substitute whatever letter it has become. All you have to do is set the file management in video capture to use drive D: and load and save your files from drive D:. That's it; nothing more complicated than that. You don't have to reinstall anything.

im sorry Im not to smart. When I go to produce a large dv movie and I say make movie just say save to the new hard drive

One more ? If I get a new computer can I transfer vf to it dont have a disk I downloaded it on line

I recently upgraded my computer including C drive re format and operating system upgrade (in effect, a new computer). I also had originally bought my copy of VF via download.

Just run the install program that you originally downloaded, put in your registration number and that's it, you're up and running again.

You should change the temporary file location in Videofactory. Go to the Preferences dialog box (found in the Options menu). At the bottom of the "General" tab, click on "Browse" and click on your new drive letter. Better yet, create a new folder on that drive (typically called "Temp") and click on that. This assures that all temporary files created during your Videofactory sessions will be stored on the same drive as your video.
