Odd pixalization issue after rendering.

Hello, for a hobby I occasionally like to make Youtube gaming videos. I recently been using Movie Studio Platinum 13 and I have noticed that there is some strange pixelation that occurs on occasional of my videos. This game is an older one running in window on a 4:3 aspect ratio using resolution of 1024x768.

The raw recorded footage before rending doesn't show any of pixaliztion problem. This is not the game that this occurs on.

Here is a picture from the raw footage: http://imgur.com/RxlApM3

Here is a picture from the rendered footage (notice the character's body, espically the squares that keep appearing): http://imgur.com/TRMhoZQ,02gCR6p#0

Any ideas at what is causing this and how to fix it?

Your source and render frame rates must be the same.

After setting the render to be at 30 frames, same as the source.

It still happens.

That's not really pixelization. I see two problems. One is that you're getting a ghosted image. This can be caused by a frame mismatch, but also much more likely to be progressive/interlaced mismatch. This is also evidenced by the slight combing of the image in the lampshade's ghost. Most likely your source is progressive so make sure your output is progressive as well.

The other issue is compression artifacts. Use a higher bitrate when rendering to get a higher quality and sharper image.

Both input and output were set to progressive.
Both input and output were at 6M bitrate.

I would like to note that when I first made the video, I did import the project settings to match the media and that this problem also appears in the preview screen and in the rendered image.

Here is another image of the problem that is a bit more clear then the previous one (look at the rabbit)
