Odometer style text

I would like to use odometer style text graphic to roll numbers for the score for a hockey game. (Moms vs Mites - lots of quick scoring.) I have looked here and on VASST with no luck. Anyone know of or have a veg to do this?

my suggestion is to look for a complete 3D box .veg. You'll need a few of them hence at least 20 - 30 layers deep. set the boxes next to each other and add your numbers to the facing squares. then you can rotate each one to reflect the score you want.
