I got the new CG to work with Vegas, and boy o boy is it much faster at rendering. Not to mention all the cool new features. (Thanks SF) : )
When I fist tried using it a month ago, it wouldn't let me reopen to edit after closing. Now, it seems to work fine except the sync cursor in the keyframer.
After watching my computer choke (slow) on a bunch of titles with the old "text media generator", I was really hopeing that I could get the new one working in Vegas. Well, for some reason it works now and renders 3 times faster than the old/stock one. A one second DV clip with a 1 second title supered (soft edge and soft shadow) renders in 20 seconds on my P4 1.3ghz system. Much better than 60 seconds for the old text generator. Now if we could just get it to render in 4 seconds like Title Decko does in Studio DV.
Any ideas what's up with the sync cursor not working for keyframes? Not a big deal, but would be cool to have back.
