OHCI IEEE-1394 ....is'nt it just firewire? Why does everyone insist on using this name. Does it refer to Firewire and somethinig else also?

Firewire and i-Link are trade names, like Kleenex and Scotties. On the other hand, saying "IEEE-1394" is more like saying "tissues". But you're right, it's all the same in the end.
