Alright, I went to a friends to test my dvd since it didn't work on my tv dvd player but it did work fine on my computer... So I went there and only the menu worked on ONE of his dvd players... The other DVD player wouldn't read it at all. When I am working in Vegas V what do i render the video as, and do I render the audio seperate? Once I render, Is there anything else that could be messing these dvd players up??? Does burn speed matter? When I render (out of vegas video) do I do DVD Arch NTCS or PAL, I really don't know what it all means... Thank you very much for your help, the manual dosn't help me at all.

If you are in North Americal, you use the NTSC template.

There are a lot of issues with DVD compatability - even DVD-R, which is "supposed" to be the most compatible format, will only play on about 80-85% of the players. In addition, cheap media can also impact playability. It all depends on the player. newer players are much better about playing -R or +R.

Here's a link to a very informative site of jetdv with specific newsletters. Check out newsletter #7 for tips on using DVD Architect. Click on "download previous issues" and then find #7.
