I am the director of a news team. We use the Ikegami DNR-20 digital camera backs for our ENG shoots; they record directly to "field Packs" (laptop hard drives) in OMFI format.

Does anyone know of a way to "batch-convcert" OMFI files to AVI or MPEG so that Vegas can read them? I want to switch my guys to Vegas from Avid Xpress, but need to be able to continue using the DNR-20's.

Any chance SoFo will update Vegas to be capable of reading OMFI files?
