Was debating for a while of what program to get. I had used the trial of Screenblast earlier this year and liked it, but had also used and liked the Premiere Pro demo, so when Adobe's Elements came out recently I thought I might go with that, or even the new Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus (finally with another video track and chroma, etc.), but having tried all of the demos I really loved Vegas Movie Studio the most, for ease of use and functionality and its great features. Little things like showing you the A-B of transitions and effects are really nice, and the way you can easily move clips around and into each other to create instant transitions. And finding an incredible deal at Best Buy yesterday didn't hurt, either! I'm also going to be getting into some more involved production in a while, using 24p cameras, and so the upgrade path to Vegas Video was another plus for MS.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to working a lot more with MS and I'm sure I'll be posting here now and then with some questions or comments.
Best,
Shaz
