One feature I could really use...

Maybe there's a way to do this already? I sometimes find it very difficult when adjusting an event's audio level to match exact reduction values. For instance, I pull the top of the envelope down and reduce the event's volume by 2.3db. No problem. Next, I decide I need to reduce another envelope by 2.3db, but as many times as I drag the envelope down, I can never get exactly 2.3. It jumps from 2.1 to 2.4. The solution is to zoom in a lot and increase the height of the envelope so the adjustment scale is finer. That's a hassle when you're trying to work quickly. I'd love to be able to right-click on the event and numerically enter the reduction amount. Is that possible with Vegas 5?

I can't find a way to enter a specific value. I find the quickest way is to use the maximize track height button on the event's track header, make the gain adjustment, and use the maximize button again to restore the track to it's original height.

Not with the event gain, but you can right click on a volume envelope point and then click Set to... to set the value.

Also, you can select multiple events and adjust their gain at the same time by just adjusting one of the selected events.
