one more basic vv3 question... can anyone help?

i'm used to being able to cut clips into smaller pieces (in ulead mediastudio).
how can you snip and cut clips, remove sections from clips etc... so far i've only been able to shorten clips from either end by dragging the clip shorter. the "selection edit tool" only seems to select the entire clip.

help?

If you select the track you want to split & have the cursor placed where you want to split & just press the "S" key it will split the track into seperate events.

Be aware that this method will also split any tracks that are grouped with the selected track
