open 64 bit Vegas Project in 32 bit Vegas

I have found that the plug ins I am looking for don't show up in my 64 bit version of Vegas Pro 8 but they do show up in the 32 bit version. However, every time I try and open up a project in my 32 bit version that I created in the 64 bit version, the 32 bit version crashes. Any ideas?

i was having trouble printing to tape and rendering a 64 bit project, when i opened it in the 32 bit i kept getting red screens and i dont know why that is.
