Open codes

Here is a suggestion to SF, how about making the codes to CDA public (as that of Linux) so programmers like myself can take a stab at helping the masses that want to use CDA.

My situation is very indepth and shows loyalty for a good thing. I built a top of the line system (PIII 850 MHz 256 Meg Ram two 30 G HD and yamaha 2100EZ CDRW) to do music production in hopes of getting back to DJing and do mix CDs. After intense trial and research about CDA I found out that the CDRW is not supported so I had to track down a used SCSI CDR from some guy in Cali. and a SCSI card. After doing all this to get the CD burning capabilities that CDA offers it seems my system has a problem with the SCSI card and my Delta card is acting funny. My plan is to have my studio using SF products only, but I will not upgrade my Sound Forge due to the CDA support issues.

Long story short, SF has so many loyal consumers for CDA why not help meet those wants/needs and provide us with the codes so we can get our own forum aimed at writing drivers for our needs. It will not be easy, but nothing worth getting comes easy and believe me this is worth getting.
