"open copy in audio editor"

If I have a wave file (acidized loop one measure) then open in my audio editor (wavelab or audition) the file plays good,,if I "open a copy" in my audio editor the sound is distorted anyone else experience this? the copy that is generated in the media pool is corrupt, I have to drag the original file back into the track view ,,,,,,

This is a problem I had at the beginning of Vegas 4 and the beginning of vegas 5. It should for the most part be gone. Few people see this problem, and the ones who report face insults from their peers and challenges to their intelligence from time to time.

There are other glitches as well, sometimes rendering glitches, sometimes wierd cross pollinization glitches where track one will play track 2 under certain zoom levels but not others.

The trouble is these things are intermittent and Sony cant fix them if we cant send them a 100% repro.
